a passion for documenting life as it unfolds

I’m a photographer located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but I’m always down to travel wherever you need me! I absolutely love being creative. I’m basically always laughing + smiling, and always down for being goofy and having a good time.

I love exploring new places and finding what that makes that place unique. More importantly, I LOVE meeting new people. Being a photographer is such a privilege. Not only do you get to meet so many different people but you get to document their milestones — some of their most important and memorable days of their life, and I’m always so honored to be a part of each one.

A few more things about me:

Besides taking photos, I love music, concerts, road trips, swimming, surfing, hanging with friends, and being creative & making art. I don’t like coffee but I love going to any local coffee shop. My go to order is an iced chai. <3

My Approach

My aim while shooting is to make you feel comfortable. I’ll do a mix of directing you and tell you exactly what to do because I know how it feels being in front of the camera — but I’ll also get those candid in between moments as well! I’d describe my style as natural and candid but also intentional.

Your wedding day

I take each wedding seriously, it’s something that only happens once and each moment of the day is precious. When documenting weddings, I will give direction when needed as well as step back to let moments happen and document what unfolds.

Lasting impact

I want to document memories that will last for a lifetime. When you look back on these photos years down the road, my hope is that the photos will bring you back to the joy, the tight squeezes, or the way the wind whipped your hair.
